We are very proud to announce that Don’t hug me I’m scared’ the latest film project and exhibition by THIS IS IT COLLECTIVE has been officially selected for Sundance Film Festival. Well done them!!
THIS IS IT are a collective of illustrators, animators, artists and designers based in London.
Take: A pinch of inspiration, a handful of joy, 2 spoonfuls of courage, 3/8 of a litre of desire, a splash of pride, 3 heaped tablespoons of laughter, 1 kg of saltwater, a cup of going the distance. You’ll know when its ready….
Although each artist in the group works individually and in a variety of different ways, collectively THIS IS IT aim to create simple, direct pieces with one clear voice.
‘Don’t hug me I’m scared’ is their second show with the JaguarShoes Collective and features their latest film and an accompanying installation.
To tie in with the exhibition launch THIS IS IT teamed up with Tom Shoes for an afternoon of craft at the Old Shoreditch Station.
