London native who recently relocated to Berlin from Amsterdam, Jamie Tiller runs the record label Music From Memory along with friends Tako Reyenga and Abel Nagengast of Red Light Records. Set up in 2013 and with compilations by Leon Lowman, Gigi Masin, Joan Bibiloni, Gaussian Curve and Vito Ricci, Music From Memory is already establishing itself as a go to label for unreleased and overlooked electronic gems.
Also part of the original crew behind Amsterdam’s cult record store Red Light Records, Jamie Tiller has been diving for pearls in the murky waters of the great record unknown already for some time. As a DJ he can be heard playing everything from African electronic oddities, oddball Euro boogie to the kind of 80’s Japanese Synth-Pop records that sound like the best new dance music you’ve never heard.
